I’m such a music person, and I’ve been rocking out to Britt’s latest CD (The Lost Get Found / Aug 11, 2009) for the last couple months. Something about this girl is so sweet, I love listening to her talk with that southern belle flair she’s unaware of. The way I could describe her is that she’s that cute and sweet girl next door, like Kellie Pickler, an angels voice, with a little more brains and less silicone.
Anyways, both of Britt’s CD are worth a listen if you like uplifting music with a little more bubble-gum pop and autotune in your play list. Just listening to her makes me smile, brightens my mood and makes me start to dance (try Like a Star). All good things!
But what I want to share today is a song that’s been rockin’ K-LOVE and Sirius XM’s The Message. I love the story behind the song. I love the idea of what she did for the video… I’d like to have the guts to do what she did.

I LOVE that song but never knew the meaning behind it – thanks!! She is adorable and inspiring all wrapped into one. What an incredible experience it would be to take a road trip like that – I’m definitely up for it!
