Albert Einstein said, “We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.”
That quote rattles off quicker than it can sink in.
As a BIG proponent of thought management, critical thinking, thought observation–call it what you wish–I find Einstein’s quote powerful. Simply put, we don’t change unless we change.
Change something, ANYTHING, if you want to not be who you were and stuck in what you did, you must do something (an action) to make something new (a result).
You want a fresh start, a do-over? Let yourself be remade new. Allow room for and create some change. A new way of thinking, doing, being. Be new.
“Who I thought I was, and who I thought I had to be – - I had to give them BOTH up, cause neither were willing to ever believe [that] I am not who I was, I am being remade, I am new.” ~ Jason Gray (singer)
This song speaks some truth on the matter:
