Visual of the Week: Soon We’ll Be

Sia (aka: Sia Kate Isobelle Furler) is an artist I’ve come to appreciate.  I knew her voice from Zero 7 (another music group I totally dig – check them out if you don’t know them).

Today I want to share one of Sia’s music videos with you.  Not only the voice and lyrics are beautiful, but this video is amazing as she uses ASL and something better than shadow-puppets to convey the message.  Enjoy… x94vf1

Come along it is the break of day – Surely now, you’ll have some things to say – It’s not the time for telling tales on me

So come along, it wont be long ‘til we return happy – Shut your eyes, there are no lies in this world we call sleep – Let’s desert this day of hurt – Tomorrow we’ll be free

Let’s not fight I’m tired can’t we just sleep tonight – Turn away it’s just there’s nothing left here to say – Turn around I know we’re lost but soon we’ll be found

Well it’s been rough but we’ll be just fine – We’ll work it out yeah we’ll survive – You musn’t let a few bad times dictate

Did you love it?  Did you find a “message” in the music?

Let’s not fight…”Don’t let the sun go down while you are still angry”
~ Paul  (Ephesians 4:26b)
