Bits of Truth

“Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness.” ~ Mark Twain

“He who does not travel does not know the value of men.” ~ Moorish proverb

Yes, that’s right – there are TWO quotes today. It’s that time of year when many are on a holiday, seeing places they typically do not live. Experiencing things they normally do not feel, see, and do. And for myself, when I travel–I am awe-struck at people. Beautiful people, and grumpy people, and children, and pets, and plants, smells, food, and trash. It’s all so different from my “home” and yet my travels always bring me closer to the world. It becomes smaller and my heart becomes larger.

And if you’re looking for a way to creatively express & journal this quote – head on over to create●he/ART for the weekly Art Journaling prompt associated with this quote. And while you’re there check out the Art Journaling Classes. Come learn what it’s all about! I’d love to see you at one!
