Dear Seeking Soul that needs to know,
Can I tell you the truth?
(since these posts ARE about the truth)
I made this card at the beginning of the week.
Now at the end of the week…it’s as if Something in me knew I would need this message over and over.
I made the card and never wrote anything. I was a little stuck–but I felt the message was good. And if you know me, then, you’ll know, I also felt it was GOoD. Inspired.
I had no idea what my week held. But I will guess that the “Something” did.
My soul, it had a hard week. Maybe yours did too.
See stuff was happening, I was admitting some hard truths to myself and began to panic. I needed the answers, I needed a plan, I needed to have the solutions to some really tough stuff.
Sweet ‘Seeking-Answers’ Soul, I tell you this, as if I’m reminding myself:
A life journey…a soul journey, does not come with an itinerary.
The thing around the next corner is unknown.
Sure you can guess…plan…hope.
BUT, life is funny. (or not at all)
It changes fast.
The Known….can quickly change.
And even those of us on a plotted journey, with a plan, can become afraid because suddenly we desire a new path. And we need answers right away. We scramble to get our feet on solid ground.
But sometimes we just need to trust that all we need to do is take the next step.
I know you want a flood light to light the path in the darkness. But usually all we have is a tiny little candle in the palms of our hands. We can barely see beyond our toes…let alone the path.
Sweet Soul, sometimes it’s just the next step. The next breath. You can’t possibly have all the answers right now.
Put the monstrous-getting-out-of-control-fear back in its box.
Take that next small trembling step…and seek Guidance.
Seek peace for the journey.
…the answers will come. They always do.
You can do this.
You always could.
My hope is that one day these Truth Cards will come to good use. Eventually I’d like to publish them with proceeds benefiting TWLOHA (because I think what they do is so very important). I have no idea how that will work, but it is a wish. For now they are my gift to you. So without further ado, here is your Truth Card to print. I’m offering one each week, collect them all and you’ll have a beautiful set of 52 cards. Simply click on the card (which takes you to my Flickr set) and download and print. I have my Truth Cards on a small easel. They look best printed 5″ x 5″. You are free to give them to others, in fact it would be a huge honor if you did. I just ask that you do not remove the copyright info. This is an honor system, I honor you, you honor me. n♥JOY!
